As the professional body for New Zealand’s engineers, our role is to advance the engineering profession and give the public confidence in engineers.
We help and support our Members to build the skills, knowledge and experience they’ll use to meet society’s engineering needs.
We define professional standards and set out what is expected of our Members. We represent our Members’ interests by influencing Government policy. We produce engineering guidance and resolve engineering issues. And we accredit internationally-recognised qualifications so our Members’ expertise can be trusted wherever they work.
